AdSense Revenue Calculator

Estimate daily, monthly and yearly Google AdSense earnings from your pageviews β€” and find out how much traffic you need to reach an income goal.

Presets fill conservative typical page RPM ranges. Real RPMs vary widely by site β€” use the figure from your AdSense reports when you have it.

πŸ’‘ Pro tips
  • β†’Write for readers in high-RPM countries if you want the biggest AdSense earnings per visitor.
  • β†’Expect RPM to rise in Q4 (Oct–Dec) and dip in January β€” plan your budget around it.
  • β†’More ads is not always more money: slow, cluttered pages lose readers and RPM.
  • β†’Never click your own ads β€” invalid clicks can get your account disabled.

What is the AdSense Revenue Calculator?

The AdSense Revenue Calculator estimates how much a website or blog can earn from Google AdSense display ads. Enter your monthly pageviews and a page RPM range β€” or pick your niche and main traffic country to fill a typical range β€” and it shows estimated daily, monthly and yearly earnings with a low, mid and high figure. If you prefer to think in clicks, switch to CTR Γ— CPC mode and enter ads per page, click-through rate and cost per click. A reverse mode answers the question most new publishers actually have: how many pageviews do I need to earn $X a month?

Page RPM is the single most useful number for estimating AdSense income. It is your estimated earnings divided by pageviews, multiplied by 1,000, so it already includes every ad on the page, impressions that earned nothing and clicks that earned a lot. Ad unit RPM (or impression RPM) measures each ad unit or impression separately, so it is lower per unit and harder to use for forecasting. Earnings = pageviews Γ· 1,000 Γ— page RPM. In click terms, page RPM β‰ˆ ads per page Γ— CTR Γ— CPC Γ— 1,000, although AdSense also pays for impressions on CPM-based ads, so real RPMs are often a little higher than the click-only figure.

Worked example: a blog with 50,000 monthly pageviews and a page RPM of $3–$8 earns about $150–$400 a month, roughly $4.93–$13.15 a day and $1,800–$4,800 a year, with a midpoint of $275 a month. To reach $1,000 a month, the same site would need about 125,000 pageviews at an $8 RPM or about 333,334 at a $3 RPM. In CTR Γ— CPC mode, 2 ads per page with a 0.8% CTR and a $0.35 CPC gives a page RPM of $5.60, or $280 a month from 50,000 pageviews.

Three things drive RPM more than anything else. Niche: finance, insurance, software and business topics attract advertisers with high customer values, while entertainment, gaming and general news pay far less. Geography: visitors from the US, UK, Canada and Australia earn many times more than visitors from India or Pakistan, so a Pakistani blog written for a US audience can out-earn a much bigger local site. Seasonality: advertisers spend the most in Q4 (October to December), so RPMs often peak before the holidays and drop sharply in January. Page layout, ad placement, page speed and how long readers stay also matter.

Getting approved and paid: Google asks for original, high-quality content that can attract an audience, a site that follows the AdSense Program policies, access to your site's HTML, and an applicant aged 18 or over. There is no official minimum traffic requirement, but sites with thin, copied or AI-spun content are usually rejected. Clear navigation and policy pages such as Privacy Policy, About and Contact help reviewers and are needed for consent rules in many regions. AdSense pays once your balance reaches the payment threshold β€” $100 for USD accounts β€” with payments issued between the 21st and 26th of the following month; earnings below the threshold roll over.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does AdSense pay per 1,000 pageviews?+
That is your page RPM. Many sites see roughly $1–$5 for general or entertainment content and $5–$20 for finance, software or business topics with mostly US traffic. Sites with mostly South Asian traffic often see well under $1.
How many pageviews do I need to earn $1,000 a month with AdSense?+
Divide $1,000 by your page RPM and multiply by 1,000. At an $8 RPM you need 125,000 pageviews a month; at a $3 RPM, about 333,334.
What is the difference between page RPM and ad unit RPM?+
Page RPM is earnings per 1,000 pageviews, covering all ads on the page. Ad unit or impression RPM is earnings per 1,000 ad impressions. Use page RPM to forecast income from traffic.
What is the AdSense payment threshold?+
$100 for USD accounts (other currencies have their own equivalent). Once your finalized balance reaches it by month-end and there are no holds, Google pays between the 21st and 26th of the next month.
Is there a minimum traffic requirement for AdSense approval?+
Google does not publish one. It looks for original, valuable content, a policy-compliant site and an owner aged 18+. In practice, a site with a solid set of useful posts and clear navigation has a much better chance.
Why is my AdSense RPM low?+
The usual reasons are a low-paying niche, mostly low-income-country traffic, few ads or poor placement, slow pages, and seasonality β€” RPM typically falls in January after the Q4 peak.
Can I use AdSense from Pakistan or India?+
Yes. AdSense is available in both countries. Your earnings depend on where your visitors are, not where you live.
Is clicking my own ads allowed?+
No. Clicking your own ads or asking others to click them is invalid activity and can get your account disabled. Let earnings come from genuine traffic.
