Who we are

ToolsForPro (toolsforpro.com) is a free website offering calculators and generators for freelancers, marketers and finance professionals. You can reach us through our contact page.

The numbers you type stay in your browser

Our calculators run entirely in your web browser. The values you enter — salaries, prices, invoice details and so on — are not sent to or stored on our servers. Some tools let you save a draft (for example the invoice generator); that draft is kept only in your own browser's local storage and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers may collect:

• Server logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and reliability.
• Usage analytics through Google Analytics — pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device type, and which tools are used.
• Advertising data through Google AdSense, when ads are shown.

Information you give us

If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We use it only to answer you, do not add you to any mailing list, and delete messages we no longer need.

Cookies and local storage

• Essential: remembers your cookie choice and dark-mode preference (stored in local storage).
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies such as _ga.
• Advertising (optional): cookies set by Google and its partners to show and measure ads.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings button in the footer of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We may use Google AdSense to show ads that help keep ToolsForPro free. In line with Google's requirements:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

How consent works

We use Google Consent Mode. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you give consent in our cookie message. Elsewhere they are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time with "Reject All" or the Cookie Settings button in the footer. While cookies are off, Google may receive cookieless signals (such as a page view without any identifier) that cannot be used to recognise you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California privacy laws) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold very little personal data, most requests can be handled by clearing your cookies; for anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information.

Children

ToolsForPro is intended for adults and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA).

Data retention and security

Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings (14 months). Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. The site is served only over HTTPS.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools or services change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
